We were unfamiliar with this idea until we came across this book by Barbara Finwall, Nancy Javier, and Jerilyn Clements; apparently, we're more into playing cards than crafts....  Anyway, here's a way to combine the two, of interest to crafters and playing card enthusiasts alike.
